About the Course

Braemar Golf Club is one of the highest 18 hole golf courses in Britain, at around 1,200 feet above sea level.

In a beautiful setting with magnificent scenery the course offers many challenges. The greens are amongst the finest in the area and the course is very popular with holiday makers and golfing societies.

Although the course is relatively short, measuring 4,935 off the medal tees, it is designed to test golfers of any standard.

The course also provides the staff with many challenges as it is normally not available for play during the winter months. During the winter months Braemar is one of the coldest location in the UK - with severe frosts and often hidden under a heavy blanket of snow the golf course is closed.

However despite these problems the greens staff are able to turn the course into a haven for golfers during the spring, summer and autumn months.

Why not play a round of golf at Braemar and experience this wonderful course!
